Pear Pancake

We end up getting a lot of pears from our lone tree during the Summer. Most of those pears end up taking some damage on their way down from the tree and these pancakes are an easy way to use up the good parts left on the pears.
Equipment
- Oven-safe pan
Ingredients
1/2 cup
flour
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 lg
egg
1/4 cup
milk
1 tbs
butter
1 tsp
sugar
~1 med
pear
powdered sugar - (optional)
pear liqueur - (optional)
Instructions

Preheat oven to 375°

Whisk flour and baking powder and egg and milk (wet & dry separately). Add wet to dry until mixed.

In skillet melt butter on medium-low. Sprinkle sugar and add pear slices (and liqueur if you have it). Cook 5 minutes. Spread
batter over the pears and cook 5 minutes until set.

Put skillet in oven and bake till browned, about 8-10 minutes.

Carefully take out of oven and flip out onto plate. Optionally sprinkle with powdered sugar.
